"Cael... Stop staying it's okay, alright?.."
"But it is," he protests, watching as she tries to stand. "You're in no condition to be moving about yet. I'm not dying."
"Then let's go. It'll be night soon."
Calestial follows him without a word, matching his footfall, hers seeming almost silent as she uses his as a cover. Her gaze studies the back of his head, then the bow and quiver on his back, and she begins to wonder if she had made a good or bad call in following him.

"But it is. You're in no condition to be moving about yet. I'm not dying."
"We need to clean and dress the wound." Dianora whispers quietly, legs shaking as she forces herself to her feet, hand reaching out, table holding her up "You're more important than I.."
"Is there a problem?" Keifer mutters lowly, feeling eyes on the back of his head as he walks, shoulders stiff

"We need to clean and dress the wound. You're more important than I.."
"Dia, please, sit," he murmurs, seeing how unsteady she is. "I don't want you to hurt yourself while trying to help me."
"Is there a problem?"
"No," she replies without hesitation, shifting the pack on her shoulders. "Why would there be?"

"Dia, please, sit. I don't want you to hurt yourself while trying to help me."
"If I don't get up and do something, I'm afraid I won't get up at all, and you'll disappear." Dia murmurs, taking a step towards him "I have to be helpful."
"No. Why would there be?"
"You've been staring holes into my head since we passed through the fence, that's why." Keifer murmurs, turning his head to look at her from the corner of his eye

"If I don't get up and do something, I'm afraid I won't get up at all, and you'll disappear. I have to be helpful."
"I'm not going anywhere," he responds, looking at her. "I can promise you that."
"You've been staring holes into my head since we passed through the fence, that's why."
"I'm an observer, what else would you expect?" Calestial looks away into the forest. "I do more staring and looking than I do talking."

"I'm not going anywhere. I can promise you that."
"That doesn't change the fact that you need to get that wound cleaned." Dia murmurs, sighing "I'll sit, but only if you do so I can work. Okay?"
"I'm an observer, what else would you expect? I do more staring and looking than I do talking."
"And that's where you and I clash heads." Keif mutters, rolling his eyes

He studies her, and seeing that she had made up her mind, he sighs and uses a hand to push against the couch to push himself up off the floor. It takes a little effort, and a small groan slips pass as he settles on the couch, careful of the blood on his shirt to avoid the fabric. "All right, you win."
"And that's where you and I clash heads."
She frowns at him, eyes narrowing a moment before returning to their normal state. "What is that supposed to mean?"

"All right, you win."
"Thank you." Dia murmurs quietly, hesitating before she leans in closer to look at the wound again, debating on whether or not to try and clean it now or wait a few minutes
"What is that supposed to mean?"
"It means we're too similar, so we're going to be at odds with one another for quite a while." Keifer mutters, trudging forward through some fallen leaves

"Thank you."
Cael gives a small half shrug at the remark, watching as she studies the wound, studying her just as close. Though after he catches himself staring he looks away, a hand holding the shirt up so the wound remains visible.
"It means we're too similar, so we're going to be at odds with one another for quite a while."
She snorts quietly and looks away, studying the forest around them.

Noticing a moment after that his eyes are on her, Dia's cheeks redden, turns her head away quickly after her own gaze starts to wander, exhaling slowly "I need to, um.." clearing her throat, she shakes her head hard, distracted "I need to clean the wound..." she whispers, voice slipping
"Am I wrong?" Keifer mutters, steps blocklike as he moves his feet

"I need to, um.. I need to clean the wound..."
At the tone of her voice Cael looks back at her, pale eyes studying before he nods, offering a small smile. "I'm not going anywhere."
"Am I wrong?"
She doesn't reply for a long moment, still studying the forest before she replies. "Yes and no."

At the tone of her voice Cael looks back at her, pale eyes studying before he nods, offering a small smile. "I'm not going anywhere."
Swallowing, Dia looks around them and reaches across his chest carefully when she spots some holy basil on the table next to him, snaps a twig off the main plant, sitting back and biting her lip
"Yes and no."
"What is that supposed to mean?" Keifer mutters, stopping to turn back and look at her

Cael remains quiet, keeping his gaze away before he lets his head roll backwards, trying to wrap his mind around things.
"What is that supposed to mean?"
"We don't know who's true to their attitude," she replies even, meeting his gaze.

Looking at the branch in her hand, Dia bites her lip then looks at him, hesitant "How many leaves are you supposed to eat to kill the pain?..."
"We don't know who's true to their attitude,"
"Are you not?" Keifer mutters, stepping towards her a step then stilling

"How many leaves are you supposed to eat to kill the pain?..."
"Three," he answers without hesitation, knowing his herbs well, and he straightens again and looks at the branch. Then, though he doesn't want to admit the pain, holds a hand out for the leaves.
"Are you not?"
"Are you?" she counters and holds her ground, refusing to share any information.
