Fort Wynn is a small military campground that distances themselves from their city-dwelling brothers. Many offer training to travelers and serve as soldiers for hire. Even if their services can be bought, the event of being stabbed in the back by one is slim to none. They often allow refugees to remain and work on the compound.

Cael walked out of the shop, carrying a small black box under his arm with his hands in his pockets. As he walked, his eyes flicked around at the others, and he would give small nods to others as he passed by. In honesty, he wasn't sure about this place. Grant it, they offered him work, food, a place to stay, and despite having stayed as long as he had for the last few months, he still had his qualms with the place.
Turning, he started down a small pathway towards some of the makeshift shelters, stopping at one and pushing aside the flap. "Dia, delivery."
Calestial ran along the outside of the camp, stopping in several places to survey the area. She was told her hit was here, but based on the set up, this job was going to be more difficult than she originally thought. She readjusted the mask that covered the bottom half of her face, her hood low and her arm wraps frayed. How to go about this?

"Dia, delivery."
Turning at the sound of a voice, Dia smiles thinly when she sees who it is, steps towards him, fingers dusted with a white powder, the table behind her dotted with the same substance "You found something I can use?" she asks, tone growing slightly excited, though she tries to mask the hope in it lest the whole thing falls through
Sitting up in a tree, Keifer skins the fruit in his hand carefully with a knife, tossing the peels off to the side, eating it piece by piece as the outer edges fall to the ground below. Hearing something, his head snaps around, grabs his binoculars and puts them up to his face, lenses roaming until he spots a girl running outside the fence to the camp, frowns

"You found something I can use?"
"I hope so," he replied and held the box out to her. "I happened to stumble across it during work." Cael looked at her hands and at the table, an eyebrow raising. "What have you started digging in?"
Finding nothing that could aid her, she took a few strides away from the fence and disappeared into the foilage. She would have no other choice than to infiltrate the camp as a civilian, then go about her business. Or,[i/] she stopped again. Maybe I can get in and out before anyone else notices. She turned and darted for the front gate, crouching low and studying the entry way closely.

"I hope so. I happened to stumble across it during work. What have you started digging in?"
"Gimme gimme." Dia murmurs, reaching out and snatching the box gently, turns it over in her hands, going to open it before she stills at his question, looks at him, small coy look, rolls her eyes "Not that it matters if it was cocaine or not, as it would make business boom right now. But since you asked, i'll tell you. Otherwise you'd fret all damn day." sighing, she sighs "It's what little flour I managed to scrounge up. You know, birthday coming up and all, I figured I could at least make a cupcake."
Tossing the fruit aside he drops the binoculars back around his neck and climbs down from the tree like a chimp, footsteps silent as he takes off towards where the girl was spotted running in the direction of the fence to the north. Speeding up, he cuts her off, barreling into her from the side, knife already pulled from his boot and held to her throat

"You're baking?" he raised an eyebrow, though a small smile was tugging at his lips. "That's a first."
Calestial let out a sharp sound like a startled cat, rolling and eyes snapping to his. Her mask moved as she bared her teeth underneath, growling and twisting to pull her knife from her pouch at her hip, other hand moving to push his knife away.

"You're baking? That's a first."
"Yes, I'm baking." Dia mutters, scowling as her hands go to her hips "Now shoo, before I make you help me with the damn thing."
"I wouldn't." Keifer hisses, pressing the blade hard enough against her skin to draw a thin line of blood "Unless you want to bleed out and die?"

"Yes, I'm baking." Dia mutters, scowling as her hands go to her hips "Now shoo, before I make you help me with the damn thing."
"What if I want to help?" He snorted, but turned and started towards the door. "Fine fine. Let me know later then how the stuff in the box turns out.
"I wouldn't. Unless you want to bleed out and die?"
Brown eyes sharpened but her hands fell still, her hood slipping from her forehead as she glared at him. Slowly, she raise her gloved hands in a "surrender" gesture, remaining quiet and still.
Until a heartbeat later.
In one swift movement, she unraveled one wrp enough to slip under the blade and snag the knife, shoving his hand away as she rolled, using his knife in his own hand and posied it over his skin. "I have dying down to an art," she murmured, a hand raising and wiping the blood that welled along her throat.

"Then get yer ass in here and help." Dia retorts, snorting as she turns away "I will. And you better be back in time to try it. I need a guinea pig." grinning, she turns to watch him walk to the door, covered in flour
Not relaxing one bit at her "surrender", he watches her through his mask, eyes like a hawk.
"I have dying down to an art,"
Reacting to her counterattack, his gaze snaps to hers when his own blade is turned against him, goes deathly still, calculating before he speaks "I doubt that very much." voice a low growl, his hands clench, gloves moving with the action

"Then get yer ass in her and help. I will. And you better be back in time to try it. I need a guinea pig."
He stopped and looked back, smiling, then walked back to where she was working. "Well, I'll stay then. I don't have anything better to do anyway."
"I doubt that very much."
After her eyes sharpened and she stared him down, searching his face for any sign of her target, she moved back, unraveling her arm wrap and jumping back. "I've no need to dabble with you," she murmured lowly.

"Well, I'll stay then. I don't have anything better to do anyway."
"More power to you." she murmurs, studying him a moment before she turns back to the table, hands mixing and rolling the dough, face relaxing each moment spent
"I've no need to dabble with you,"
"No, but now you've created a challenge." he hisses, jumping forward when she goes back, knife still in his hand "And you've been watching the camp. Why?"

"More power to you."
Cael watched her a moment, finding a spot out of the way and studied her. "So where'd you learn to bake from?"
"No, but now you've created a challenge. And you've been watching the camp. Why?"
"That's no concern of yours," she retorted, watching him as she wound the cloth around her arm again. "But it's obvious that you've been watching me."

"So where'd you learn to bake from?"
Stilling, Dia's hands freeze in place before she resumes kneading and pulling at the dough, eyes down on the table, lips slightly pursed "From my Aunt."
"That's no concern of yours. But it's obvious that you've been watching me."
"It's a concern of mine if I make it my concern." he retorts, shaking his head "Of course I was. You're a stranger, sneaking around the camp."

"From my Aunt."
Noticing the reaction he cringed just a little, feeling as though he hit a sour spot. "Sorry, I didn't know," he murmured quietly, looking away.
"It's a concern of mine if I make it my concern. Of course I was. You're a stranger, sneaking around the camp."
She snorted, turning away. Her jaw worked as the opened her mouth to retort, but she decided against it as she started walking again, away from the camp. What good would words do? He wasn't her target, and she didn't have all day. Or night. She would just have to return at a later time and not waste her breath.

"Sorry, I didn't know,"
"It's quite alright. It was a simple question, one I don't blame you for asking." Dia murmurs, small forced smile "The dough is ready to shape, if you're still up to helping."
"Hey!" Keifer hisses, hand searching for his knife "Why don't you stop!"
