"I know that. Of course I don't want to. I like my shack in the middle of nowhere. I can never be found, and I only get a guest once in a blue moon so I don't really worry about supplies. But I will. Besides the track will always be there. "
She didn't understand. After being so bitter, he wanted to go? Finally she faced him, hood only sitting halfway on her head. "Why would you leave it, then?" She caught wind if the internal storm. "Why would you want to leave with someone you know nothing of?"

Why would you leave it, then?" "Why would you want to leave with someone you know nothing of?"
"Again with the questions. " he shook his head. There had never been a time when he needed reasons to explain his actions, let alone voice them. "Why are you always expecting an answer. Do you really need a reason why? Let me ask you this. Even if you got one, would it make a difference?"

"Call it an interview," she replied wittingly. "and it would make a difference. It would either make me a little laid back or more wary than I am. Tell me, how would you feel being a girl my age and having someone like you wanting to tag along? Living outside of your shack, the world is different. And I won't be responsible for anything that could happen or will happen."

His nose crinkled at the word interview. "Great I've always loved those." he looked at her incrediously. "How rude. I realize my hair has gotten long, but I never once tried to imagine myself as a girl. " he made a face. "Ha! A kid responsible. Well it truly is the end of the world. " Although he couldn't say anything. He was still young when everything started. But he had already gotten used to it.

She bristled at the comment, poised to say something snarky, but bit it back. What was the point? Turning away, Dees growled. "If you're coming then get your shit together. I'm not coming back any time soon." Why was she even let him come?

"Get my things together? Oh! Five minutes." He dropped his bag and took off running. After a second he stopped and looked at her pointedly. "Stay here." He continued on his path to the shack.

"Whatever," she snorted, watching as he ran off. "Tch. What am I doing." She leaned down and picked up the bag, carrying it off the track and sat on a fall tree with it by her leg, crossing her arms as she waited.

Dres coughed a little, pulling out her canteen and took a drink, refilling it with snow and placed it underneath her cloths and into the vest hurried there. She ran a hand over her face and looked towards the direction she heard footfall, scowling as she grew impatient.

Dietrich reached the spot he left her not minutes later. Only once he was beside her again did he stop running. Because he had though he bent over slightly, a hand on his knee. "Phew I made it."

"Hey I may not be as young as you, but I didn't take that long. Ready to go when you are wallflower." He started walking forward.

She snorted and started after him, pulling her back onto her shoulders and adjusted it.

Dietrich swung the bag onto his shoulder as he passed it, managing to not drop anything in the process.

Dres walked in silence behind him, her cloths hiding her arms and hands, her chin lowered into her scarf. Her eyes studied his back, half darkened by her brows lowered in thought while she took in every detail, still trying to understand. After so long, she sped up and moved beside him, gaze trained forward as she looked at her mental map, making note of where they were as her eyes scanned for the familiar marks.
