"I told you not to call be that!"
"Why? Whats wrong with it? " he met her gaze. He never knew one name could anger someone so much.

"Why? Whats wrong with it? "
Glaring a moment longer, she looked away, expression still remaining harsh though her voice wavered a little. "I don't like it. In fact, I hate it." Her hands clenched in her lap, balling into the fabric as she said it, trying to convince herself. "Just call me Dres if you can't think of anything else with that dense head of yours."

"Just call me Dres if you can't think of anything else with that dense head of yours."
Dietrich watched her before turning his head. Yes he decided to ignore her actions. "Alright I'll try not to call you that." It wasnt his attention to argue even if he woukd still do it. It was rare he actually tried to please another. If they didnt like it, well too bad. It made things easier not to think. He exhaled pushing his hair back. After a moment he sighed, he hasn't realized that it had gotten so long. He stared at the wall. Not only was his expression dark, but the space around his eyes as well. Just how long had it been, the days blurred into each other. "So what will you do now?"

"So what will you do now?"
She stood, dusting herself off and carried her dishes outside, leaving the door open. What would she do? "More than likely continue on my merry way," she remarked, using the snow to wipe the food from it, stepping back inside. "I've some business to finish up, and others to conduct at the next town if I'm to eat a little more than just rations." She placed the bowl with the others.

"Hmmm." After a moment Dietrich stood. "Stay here " he walked over to the door and outside. It would probably bite him in the ass to do this, but he wasn't about to let her go with nothing. He disappeared around the side of the house, feet carrying him to a patch of brush that was covering a cellar.

"Hmmm. Stay here "
"What?" She looked at him, watching with skepticism as he walked outside, brow creased. Though once he was outside, for a heartbeat, she let her mask drop and let her head fall back, eyes closing. She should've continued on ahead. Maybe then she wouldn't have this distant lingering to settle somewhere. She's been a nomadic as long as she can remember, and a smuggler from when she was old enough to run and sneak around.
Eyes opening, she listened to his footsteps as he moved around, Gray gaze distant as she looked towards the door. Why did she have such an odd vibe? Dres snorted and looked down, letting her cloth hide her arms and hands, chin dipping into her scarf. Her expression sharped as she stared into space, determining her next move.

Once he was inside he looked around at the shelves. It didn't matter whether his eyes got used to the dark or not- he had been in the little room enough to know where each crack in the walls are. Or were rather, he tried to keep it closed up as much as he could. He walked to the middle and grabbed a small backpack before he ventured to each wall, gathering a few items that still came off as usable to him. Some he had to think about, It was hard picking things out for females. There was no telling what they liked or disliked. A few minutes later he threw the bag through the entryway before climbing up after it.

Giving herself a small growl, Dres stepped over to the door and grabbed her pack as she went out, pulling her hood up as she threw her pack over her shoulder. She stayed too long. However, she paused, pulling a box of ammo for a ruffle and left it just underneath the overhang, then turned and started away.

Once he was above ground he closed the only entryway in a sense only he knew how to enter. Picking up the small pack he walked over to the front of the house. Watching her leave he exhaled before walking inside. Quickly he put the rest of the food in a contained before heading back out. He wasn't going to just let her leave like that. Besides he knew every in and out of this place, all he had to do was cut her off.

Dres walked, pulling on the other strap as she shifted her weight, leaping over a rail and stepping into the center. Scanning the area, she got her sense of direction and started the way she was heading, following the track now.

Dietrich stepped further into the brush and took off in a fastwalk, cutting around trees every now and then. He wasn't worried about being in a hurry, he knew he would reach the overhang before she was even close to it, and that's if you knew where to go. Minutes later he reached it and squatted as he waited.

Out of habit, she reached for the knife around her neck, freezing when she realized she left it at the shack. Cursing, she looked back the way she came, frowning deeply, though growled and turned away, continuing on. She had an extra, and it would work until she reached the next town. However, the harsh demeanor melted away, and she stopped another moment, the silence killing her. Hearing a voice after so long, it was nice, and deep down she knew that. And yet she left. She took a breath then started forward, more slowly, pulling her scarf up, starting to sing quietly to herself.

Dietrich heard her before he saw her. Hearing something that he recognized as a song, he tilted his head before he moved back a few feet, hidden. He stayed as still as he possibly could until she passed where he was located. Once she had however, he dropped down silently and began following her. With light steps he caught up and put both hands behind his head as he walked beside her. "So where are we going?"

Hearing something, she slowly moved her hand to the other knife on her hip, but didn't stop walking or singing. Hearing it draw closer, her hand tightened.
"So where are we going?"
She whirled, singing stopping and expression sharp, knife held parallel to her arm and near his neck. "Why are you following me."

"Why are you following me."
Dietrich stopped as a knife came up to rest in front of his neck. He tilted his head, eyes trailing downward to the blade."And here I was enjoying a song. He looked back up with a blank expression. "I wasn't. Matter of fact, I got here before you so wouldn't that mean you were following me?" He asked, expressions lighting up his face more as he spoke.
