"I am now."
Dres nodded and started out, pausing by the woman from the night before and gave a nod. "Any news?"
"Rumor says there's a couple of folks in town looking for someone to do a smuggling job," she replied, looking up from the book she was recording things in. She straightened a little more. "They stopped by and asked for you by Gray, so I'm assuming they've heard of you, or followed a trail. They left this."
Dresden frowned and took the letter, looking over it, then her gaze snapped to her. "When did they stop?"
"Early this morning," she replied, then hesitated. "I know it's none of my business, but aren't you a little young to be smuggling something like this?"
Dresden looked at the letter a long moment, then her stony eyes found her again. "I don't know. This would be a first." She looked back at the letter. "And a pain at that. This is something I wouldn't normally involve myself with."
"Then why accept it?" the woman asked kindly, genuinely curious.
"If they asked for me by name, and not that stupid stage name the brokers use, then there must be a reason."

Dietrich listened, his head tilting at the information. They actually knew her alias? That was slightly surprising since he gathered that she was hardly ever called that.

The woman nodded. "You're a wise girl and have more street smarts than most. I trust your judgment." However, she paused a moment. "Just make sure to keep yourself alive, yeah? I can't lose my most valuable customer. You help keep the trouble markers out."
The smallest smirk threatened to tug at Dresden's lips as she turned away, waving over her shoulder as she stuffed the letter in her pocket. "I'm too young yet to die." The mirth faded as she stepped out of the door, eyes looking around the outside as she got her bearings. Then she started down the street to the right.
"Camp Cod," she murmured. "That's back in the direction I just came from." She then remembered Ridge and looked over her shoulder at him. "Looks like you'll see home again."

"Looks like you'll see home again."
Dietrich looked at her quickly, a small amount of relief and hope in his eyes. "That's reassuring. " says quietly though heartfelt. "But this time it'll just be a visit yea?"

"Unless you tire of me and wish to leave, then yeah, only a visit. We'll be passing through that area." She continued forward, eyes searching the streets as she searched for the drop point. Once at a fountain that no longer worked, Dres stopped and looked for another marker, then moved into an alley. "Someone should be here somewhere."

Dietrich let loose a laugh as he moved to walk beside her. "Oh you can't get rid of me that easily girly. " he pushed her head down in a pat like manner.

Standing by an old freight trailer that's rusted over, Drake stares at the ground, gritting his teeth in frustration "Where the hell is she?" He mutters under his breath, arms crossed over his chest

"Oh you can't get rid of me that easily girly. "
Dresden sent him a sidelong scowl before looking forward again. After a moment, her gaze fell onto a guy standing near a crate, and she mentally went over the note. It was the drop point.
She stepped away from Ridge, gaining her usual facade when it came to business. "You Makai?"

You Makai?"
Dietrich brushed it off with a smile before following her. Noticing the demeanor change,he let the smile drop. As he walked he mimicked her slightly, face feigning seriousness.

"You Makai?"
Gaze snapping to the girl, his eyes rake over her before he pushes off of the crate, walking towards her, face at ease "I am. Are you my escort?" he murmurs, patting his shirt down, dressed casually

"I am. Are you my escort?"
Her eyes traveled over him once before they went back to his face, her expression relatively stony and impassive. "Looks like it. Hope you're ready to go, because I'm not hanging around here any longer. Though a few ground rules." She raised a hand, her fingerless gloves dusty. "No questions. No bullshit. Listen to anything I tell you. And for the love of hell don't do anything stupid, because regardless of you being my package, I won't hesitate to kill you if you cause any problems. Understood?"

Dietrich resisted the urge to smile at what was said.

"I'm ready to go." he replies, running a hand over his face, tired of standing around for no reason "I'll follow your rules, as long as you'll grant me the same privacy you expect for yourself." shrugging, he sticks a hand out, eyes on hers "We have a deal?"

Dresden moved, hand raising from her side a little before she stopped, eyes locked with his and frowned. However, she snorted and turned away, starting towards the tracks again. "You can trust I won't stick my nose anywhere it shouldn't be."

At the sight of her hand moving, Drake grins and straightens his arm, expecting them to shake on it, smile fading when she turns away, drops his arm with a shrug "Fine by me, miss."
