"No it's OK. They both relate to the same thing. Well I'll start from when everything changed. I was 9-10 when my life fell apart. And I mean all at once. When I was 7 I met a couple who was traveling through town. A pair of nomads who had performed. Immediately I had taken a liking to them as well as their ways. While they stayed here I spent more and more time with them. Although they didn't stay long, they came back the next year. They taught me music and how to play different things. Well the year I turned ten they had a surprise for me, so we loaded up in their car and they drove just past the entrance. They had bought me a violin to practice on until I found something else."[/i]
"Nomads? I thought they stayed away from the cities," she replied quietly, hesitating again. "what were they like?"[/font]

"Nomads? I thought they stayed away from the cities,"
"Normally yes. But the woman liked to shop. I guess you could call them travelers. Doesnt make a difference now"
"what were they like?"
Charlie grinned a moment. "They were fun. In every sense of the word. While playing they always danced crazily. They had parties every night. He liked fireworks as much as she loved shopping. Now she didn't buy clothing or anything for themselves. No it was mainly stickers or postcards. Things to document where all they had traveled. Oh and the stories were never ending. "He looked forward remembering the last day he had with them. , smile doing a 180.

Tae listened and watched, exppression soft. "Sounds nice."

"It was." He played a few more notes before stopping. "Everything went downhill on my tenth birthday. "

"What happened?' She asked quietly, frowning a little.

"What happened?'
"I waited for days for them to come, and when they didn't I got worried. They showed up a week late, and took me to a campsite. That's when they gave me the violin. They even baked me a cake when they learned I never celebrated my birthday. We camped out for the night and headed back for town the next morning. On the way a government issued vehicle tailed us for miles. Another appeared from the side and slammed the car. All I remember is the car flipping and then a push. When I woke up I was a few feet away from the car. He was fighting someone trying to get to the car. But they shot him. Even though my vision was blurring, I moved towards her to try and pull her out. I wasn't strong enough to move her. Her leg had been impaled on the gear stick. She managed to push her guitar into my hands, telling me to run. All I remember was a hand on my face and tears. The last thing I saw was her smiling at me before she was pulled from the car. They we're the best friends I had. I never told anyone what happened or that I couldnt see. 3 years later my parents disappeared. It was just the two of us. I dropped out of school, took care of Nina. Got jobs here and there. And here we are. In a cursed room." He looked forward. "As for Monica, our paths had been tangled since the day I was born."

Taliesin listened, face falling as she listened. She remembered stories about an accident when she was younger, but she hadn't placed him in it. Her eyes looked around the room. He had all the reason to give up, to stop fighting, and yet he was pushing forward, saving the kids in the process. "I admire your strength," she said after a few long moments, hand moving to her side as her very small reason to push on, one that she was ready to abandon.

"I admire your strength,"
"Strength? Is that what it is? "He turned towards her shaking his head. "I may have had it worse in the sense of the word, but you have more than I do. "

"What do you mean?"
"There's a difference between losing a friend and losing a child. "He smiled grimly. "I'm no different from anyone else. "

Her expression saddened as she looked down. "we've all experienced loss. Some take it better than others. Some fall into holes they can't climb out of."

"See? Thats why I don't call myself strong. All my childhood I was told that strong people find a way out for themselves. "

"you've a way out of yours," she reminded quietly, looking at him again.
