"I doubt I could sleep," she admitted. "I haven't really slept in some time. And when I do, it's the heavy rest that leaves you more exhausted than when you first laid down. I'll be fine."

"I have jaeger. " he moves to the only nightstand in the room and opens the door before pulling a bottle out. Next he grabs two glasses.

"Perfect." She leaned back against the back of the couch, watching him before looking down and tying her hair back in a knot. She might as well enjoy a glass if there was a chance she'd not live much longer.

Charlie poured some in each glass soundlessly. Normally he wouldn't even touch the stuff, but it didn't make a difference what he drank really. Carrying them over to her, he holds her glass out to her.
