In the northern forests, game can be found in abundance. However, hunting them is another story, as many hunting nomads and barbarians have taken residence here. If traveling through, beware-- they won't hesitate to draw their weapons.

Spiro sprints across the ground, cloak pulled over his face, box tucked under his arm, trying to get home before the storm gets any worse. Gritting his teeth when a gust of rain patters his back, he pauses a moment before he hurries up, gaze on the flickering lights in the distance, just barely visible under the darkening sky

Sitting in one of the tops of the trees, her wings wrapped around herself and made herself appear as nothing more than a large oval in the tree, holding her head and bit her lip. With it being dark, her darker side wanted nothing more than to just run free and do what it wished. But she hated that side. Which was also why she fled to the forest.
However, she heard footsteps below and jerked, her wings moving to fold behind her back as she leaned forward, eyes searching for the source. When they found it, her head tilted and a smirk started to twitch at her lips, though she jerked back with a quiet gasp and hid her wings quickly, a few feathers falling. She didn't want to torture anyone.

Hearing something, Spiro stiffens, gaze sharpening before his head snaps up, searching the trees above his head, frowning at the sight of feathers falling, catches one with his fingertips "A bird?.." he murmurs, studying the plume with interest, hesitating "Too big for a normal one though."

"A bird?.. Too big for a normal one though."
She quickly clasped her hands over her mouth, struggling with herself a moment before standing from her perch and jumping towards another tree, landing and running along the branch to the trunk. Her body quivered with the effort as she swallowed back the urge.

Hearing a snap then the sound of footsteps, his gaze snaps to the noise, takes off, hands still clutching the feathers "Wait!"

"Wait!"
Echo let out a quiet gasp, standing to continue running, but stepped on a bad branch and it snapped underneath of her, sending her towards the ground. She let out a sharp cry and snapped the tips of her wings out to catch herself but failed, hitting the ground and tumbling the hillside with a yelp. At the bottom she hissed quietly, wings sprawled on the ground and covered with leaves as she pushed herself up into a sitting position, rubbing the pain from her arm.
She shook, her eyes darting up towards the voice. She had done it now, but she was at least thankful to had fought back the darkness enough to at least be less harmful.

Following the sound of running footsteps, Spiro stiffens, deathly still as he hears a branch snap then a cry, takes off in that direction. Upon a crashing noise, he pauses a moment longer, hesitating, can't but half see "Hello? Are you alright?" he calls into the darkness, eyes searching "I'm not going to hurt you."

"Hello? Are you alright? I'm not going to hurt you."
Echo bit her lip, moving to stand as she shook out her wings, tucking them in the best she can. "W-what are you doing out here?" She asked quietly, remaining still.

"W-what are you doing out here?"
Eyes flicking to the voice, he pauses before stepping closer to the girl, gaze finally making her out "I was out picking up a package. What are you doing out here?" he echoes, small frown "Are you alright?"

"I was out picking up a package. What are you doing out here? Are you alright?"
Her mouth worked a moment, hand still holding her arm, and she finally squeezed the last of the feathers inside and against her back, though a couple had fallen near her feet. "I-I'm fine."

"I-I'm fine."
Eyes flicking down to the feathers that fall, he frowns softly, eyes raising back to hers "Are you an angel?" he murmurs, ignoring her statement for the moment

"Are you an angel?"
She stiffened at the question, eyes wide. To lie or to tell the truth? She squirmed a moment. "I... I... Not exactly.." She settled for inbetween and looked down, eyes finding the feathers.

"Well." he murmurs, offering a hand to her "Why don't you come to my home, and rest for the night, at least."

"Well. Why don't you come to my home, and rest for the night, at least."
Her head snapped up and she stared at him, her beanie bobbing a little. "What? No, no I couldn't." I shouldn't...
