A small community of traders and merchants of all kinds built from an old fort complex that was used in the beginning during the wars. Now, New Fort acts as a post for smugglers, nomads, traders, and hunters, as well as an information hub for brokers between the forest and the mountains. If you need to know something, someone is bound to know it here.

Ceidric walks down the street, eyes flicking between stalls- examining the number of people at each vendor or booth. He exhaled when he heard his stomach growl lightly, tucking his coat around him better.

Quietly, Echo follows Spiro to the markets, gaze traveling around as she pulls her hat down further on her head, uncomfortable being around so many humans. Spiro was the first in a long time she let herself communicate with, and part of her is starting to regret that. Yet, she welcomes his company, being tired of the silence she always had.
Looking at him, she hesitates a moment. "What are we going to buy?"

"What are we going to buy?"
"Bread. Lamb. Possibly some milk. Would you like anything in particular?" Spiro murmurs, arm reaching out to grasp hers gently, crowd picking up

"Bread. Lamb. Possibly some milk. Would you like anything in particular?"
She shakes her head, gaze moving to the people around them as they walk. "I'm not particularly picky." Her gaze jumps over a young man near a vendor's stall, and at first he appears a stranger. But when the stance and the color of his hair caught her attention, she stops in her tracks, eyes wide as she stares at him, face paling.

Ceidric walked up to a booth with a good amount of people around it before he picked something and looked at it before putting it back down. Frowning he walked to a few more booths, repeating the process as he tried to determine what to get.

"I'm not particularly picky."
"That makes you easy to get along wit-" Spiro murmurs, pausing to look at her, small frown "Are you alright?"

"Are you alright?"
She watches as the man disappears into the crowd, her brows drawn tightly together. "How can it be him...?" Echo whispers. "How can he be alive...?"
Stepping up behind Cedric, Dusk tilts her head at him as she moves to his side, looking at what he picks up with a mismatched gaze. "We just need some meat and bread, and maybe a few vegetables. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to choose any of that."

"I know." Ceidric turned to look at her. "But it doesn't hurt to look. Now is there anything that you want?"

"How can it be him...? How can he be alive...?"
"Who?" Spiro murmurs, turning to look in the direction she is, eyes searching the crowd in confusion before a wave of pain hits him. Stumbling back, he grasps his head with a hiss, breathing hard as he knocks into a merchants stand

"I know. But it doesn't hurt to look. Now is there anything that you want?"
"Not a thing," she murmurs, looking around again. "I just don't like walking among these crowds. Something just feels off about today." However, her ears catch the sounds of something being turned over and the startled voice of a woman, and she turns about to find its source, finding white hair hidden beneath a toboggan, and she frowns.
"Who?"
"A very--" at the hiss she whirls around, hand reaching out to steady him when he knocks into a booth, eyes wary. "Spiro? Spiro, what's wrong?"

Ceidric sighed turning to her. "Go home Dusk, ill finish up here. And yes ill get everything. " he pushed her gently in the direction they came from, a small worry nagging him in the back of his mind.

"A very-- Spiro? Spiro, what's wrong?"
"There's..." Groaning, Spiro's finger's tighten on his head, eyes flickering between dark and pale as he looks at her, Uriel trying to take over "Something's wrong... My head."

"There's... Something's wrong... My head."
Seeing the change in eyes, Echo frowns as she studies him, murmuring, "Uriel... Spiro, don't fight it. It'll only make it worse."
"Go home Dusk, ill finish up here. And yes ill get everything. "
"Hey old man, I'm not a kid anymore," she grumbles, whirling towards him. "I don't need to go home."

"Hey old man, I'm not a kid anymore," "I don't need to go home."
At the words spoken he froze a moment before he looked down sulking. As she faced him he glanced up at her a moment, surrender present in his eyes. "Find me something to put the food in then. "
