Echo says nothing more and watches him, trying to figure out who he is. And somewhere in the back of her mind, she felt the dark tickle at her thoughts as his back turned from her. She bit her lip.

Without a sound, Echo turns and takes a seat on the worn out sofa, running a hand through her hair to occupy herself, her silver gaze moving around the room as she studied it for the first time.

Eyes opening slowly, he looks up at the dark sky, rain hitting his face before the glow in his irises suddenly fades, falls unconscious, hardly making any noise as he hits the ground, storm roaring on

After hearing no movement for some time, and when a gust of wind slams the door, Echo stands and walks to it, eyeing it. "Uriel?" She calls quietly, and upon hearing no response, she steps to the door and opens it, starting when she sees Spiro's body on the ground, soaked in the storm. Quickly she moves to his side, struggling to lift him from the ground and half carries, half drags him inside and to the couch she once sat on.
Once he's laid down, she falls back on her heels, eyeing him curiously before a dark glimmer crosses hers eyes. As though shocked, she shuffles back and away from him, wrapping her arms around herself. "No," she says shortly.

She remains crouched against the wall, knees drawn up and hands clasped together tightly around her legs. "An Angel possessed your body," she murmurs. "I don't know why, or how." Her gaze is still wary as she studies him, searching for any sign of Uriel.

She shakes her head. Any other time, she would offer a hand to help him. But between the storm outside and the dark, she isn't going to risk it. "Sleep is useless to me."
