Garcia walked inside and made him sit on the couch that was against the wall. She looked at him, gaze searching as her hand flew to his shoulder. "Let me see." Her gaze flicked to the girl and she started to ask her to leave.
"Its alright Garcie. She can stay. "He saw no reason not to trust the girl. Besides he was too tired to argue with her. Exhaling he grabbed the hem of his shirt and lifted it above his head. He twisted his body to the side as much as he could, revealing the angry scars on his back. A combination of old and fresh decorated the entire length.

Tae looked at her and went to turn and leave, but froze at Charlie's voice and looked at him, brows drawn together. He was trusting her to let her stay? She remained still and watch, eyes widening at the scars and the abuse. "Have you something to put on those one they're clean?" she asked quietly, remembering the kit she had in her pack.

"There should be some salve in the drawer, although I don't know how much is left." he trained his gaze on the wall
Garcia traced one lightly. "There was less last time. "

Tae went to the drawer, pulling the salve out and bringing it over to them, feeling like an imposter as she warred with herself. Part of her wanted to ask about what they were talking about, what had he gotten himself into, but it wasn't any of her business, and instead, she remained quiet.

Garcia looked at her gratefully before moving towards the door. "I'll go see if there's any wrap." she disappeared and made her way to the kitchen.
Charlie exhaled before holding a hand out for the salve. He would start on it while she was gone, the faster it was applied the better. He knew the fever had come from an infection. Due to the ones he couldn't reach no less.

Tae nodded, then saw Charlie reaching, so she stepped over and opened it. "Here, let me," she said quietly. "You've got some that you won't be able to reach." She took some salve and started on the ones that were harder to reach, holding the container out for him.

Charlie lowered his arms to make it easier on both of them. "Thank you." once the salve was applied to his skin, his eyes fluttered close at the temperature of it. Once she was done he took it before dipping two fingers down in it. His arm raised to the opposite shoulder and he moved the digits back and forth. The rest of his back was done the same way. Closing the lid he exhaled. "That feels somewhat better."

She leaned back, hands resting in her lap as she studied them. "I don't know what you're involved in, but whatever it is, don't let it get worse," she said quietly, knowing it wasn't her place, but the thought of the two kids. "Don't let what you have slip away."

"I made a deal that I can't get out of. Especially not now. " he looked away before answering. "She's pregnant. I realize she dosnet look like it, but she is at least half term.
"Don't let what you have slip away."
Charlie let out a weak chuckle as he moved to lay on his stomach. "I'm trying not to, but I'm not home enough for them. I can't even be there for my family when they want it. Nina and the kids are the only things I have to lose in this world.

"I'm trying not to, but I'm not home enough for them. I can't even be there for my family when they want it. Nina and the kids are the only things I have to lose in this world."
Her expression softened a little and she closed her eyes. "Family in this day and age is more important than anything else." Her eyes opened again and she looked at them, giving a sad smile. "Take the time every chance you get to spend it with them. You'll never know what could happen."

Tae looked down, wringing her hands. Now she regreted coming-- he already has his own set of troubles, and then placing his kids and family in harm's way, she couldn't stand it. Now all she thought about is what could happen if someone found her with them, and what they could do.

"Hmmm but you still use them no? I put on."she smiled at Tae. "Doctors make the worst patients."
