Charlie looked at her with wide eyes. Despite the slightly shocked look shot in her direction, his features relaxed completely. As his eyes closed he exhaled gratefully following her directions.
"Did she ever say anything to you? Monica, I mean."
"About what's going on? No, and although I am a little out of the loop- I've managed to figure out small pieces. Do you know?"

Tae takes a long breath. "I only know speculation and superstition," she admits. "A couple years ago after Denmark..." She pauses, but skips over the fact about her son. "A tattoo showed up on my side, though I never went and had one done. And that was when I started feeling a pull, and that pull lead me to an old woman who had been there when Denny was born. Of course, it was after a rough job, and it was her that stitched me up, and when she saw the tattoo, she went on for days about how my life was going to become more than just scraping by and surviving." Her mossy eyes stare ahead as he walks. "Though it still hasn't changed much since then."

Charlie tilted his head in thought as he listened. "An old woman?" his thoughts drifted into a few years ago. His head shook in disbelief, there was no way it could be the same. "I have one too don't I? She didn't say much, but Monica always complained about how she had to get rid of it. "

Her hand lingers, touch gentle. "I didn't notice it before because I didn't see it." She pauses, thinking a moment. "I don't know much about them, but I could guess that depending on a person's alignment, it'll show to someone on the same path. at least, that's what Nan had said."
