"It won't last long, it was a small dose. You probably hate me, enough to kill perhaps. Thats fine, I won't hold it against you. "
As she listened, she managed to move a finger, brows furrowing in concentration. Kill him? That was the last thing on her list. No, her list was to regain movement, then run. She didn't want to hurt anyone. After a few minutes, she managed a small jerk of her head as she turned it towards him, struggling. "Wh...who're you?" she managed to breath through fumbling lips, eyes pinched in concentration.

"Wh...who're you?"
Charlie frownwed before moving back up the stairs. "Just a fly caught in a web." Says quietly before he locks them inside. Exhaling he sits on the top step his head in his hands.

"Just a fly caught in a web."
She turned her head and looked at the ceiling, hearing the door lock, and silently she cursed her luck. She let herself get too trusting, too caring since her last job. She let herself dull and grow rusty. She grit her teeth, continuing to work through the lead bit by bit. First her fingers, then toes, then her hands and feet, and slowly worked towards jerky, but by no means helpful, movements of her arms.

Charlie looked over his fingers hearing something, and he braced himself for an attack. With shadowed eyes, his posture grew tense as he waited-for he was sure that it wouldn't be long now. Despite not wanting to kill her, he would do whatever it takes to keep her there. Just until he was sure she was the one he was after.

After a few minutes, she managed to pull herself into a sitting position with a groan, though bent with her head resting on a hand as the world around her spun. There wasn't anything she hated more than drugs. But now that she was sitting up, she looked around the room, trying to understand her current situation and gauge the right way to go. But, by the looks of it, her secrets wouldn't remain secret for long.
Mossy eyes flicked to Charlie and where he stood on the stairs, and with a sigh and changed demeanor, "I'm smarter than that," she murmured. I'll have no luck trying to get out for a while, not with this drug in my system."

"I'm well aware of that. Bounty hunters are trained after all." Charlie gave a small smile. "There's no other exit, that I can assure you. Just the door. So sooner or later we'll have to fight.

"Cat's out of the bag," she murmured. "You know about the money on Tali the Black, bounty hunter and mercenary, then." Her gaze slid over him, though quietly she was cursing herself. "Which also means you have an idea on who put it there."

"No just a description . But you just confirmed that youre her. " He tilted his head. "Maybe. But wouldn't know. I don't care for the money, I have that coming out of my ears. All I was concerned with if you we're the one I was hunting, what to do with you."

She rubbed the numbness from her legs. "It doesn't matter, not now. Even if I got out of here, the rest of the city's bounty hunters, bounties, and people who know are out for the cash. I had little chance of making out last night even if I had went straight for the gates. And getting through them was a 50/50. I know how much money or supplies talk." Tae swung her legs of the couch, slowly working them. "I'm surprised you haven't taken me in already."

"You and me both. But then again, even I'd the drug hadn't already started wearing off-which I know it has. There is the means of getting you there. Which I don't have."

"Then why keep me?" She asked lowly, her other side showing, the one others called the Black when she threw up her walls and decided any means necessary would be allowed. "If you can't turn me in, why hold me here?"

"To think. I can't get you there, not at the moment. But I have to at some point. That or kill you." He looked up at her with a dark uncharlistic grin. "What do you prefer?"

"To be let out," she replied without missing a beat. "Not that it matters. There really isn't anything keeping me ground here. Just wishful memories and shady figures. So why would it matter if I died here, either by your hand or mine, or there when you turn me in, on the street. In the end I'll meet the same fate one way or another." She pushed herself off of the couch, unsteady, took a couple of steps, but decided she still needed time and took a seat again.

"I can't. "Repeats to her as he kept his head trained forward-listening. She wanted out and he wanted free from the entanglements he was trapped in. But he knew they both couldn't have what they desired. Not safely. "What if I said you could live to see tomorrow?"

"What if I said you could live to see tomorrow?"
She let out a sharp and mirthless laugh. "A far fetched idea, sweetheart."
