He grinned, a little dirt on his cheek. "I have the training for the engineer part. They let me here, but no one else wanted to board the train because of the brutal winters, so I had to learn all of the technicalities. I also rigged this to be able to run it either from the front or the back."
"You come up with the whole trading thing?"
"Trading thing?"

Adam blinked, then laughed light and rubbed the back of his neck as it clicked. "You must be talking about Tobe. The train is free, but he rents a car when he rides and runs a broker business." His hand lowered. "He generally rides when a girl a little younger than me fetches a ride, and she always uses his car. I think he calls her D-Gray or Gray or something like that." Shrugging he continued. "I've never had any issues with him, so I let him do his thing."

Dietrich glared a moment before sighing. He gave up trying to tell the kid . "I only just met her now on the tracks. Yes she is very antisocial. " he wasn't lying to the boy, he truly just met D-Gray the nomad. Dres on the other hand... he didn't believe her to be as she led on. Nor did he think she hated him. "Speaking of, I should probably get back soon. "
"Nah, he just charges for his car."
"Well let's keep it that way, otherwise I'll do something unpleasant. "
